Tips on raising your CUL & other ways to make this community a better place

I came up with the idea in this thread. It started off as a group of members with 1-5 CUL that could help each other out in different ways and assist in initiatives, but I thought I would start with this guide and see what goes from there. I get asked all the time about guides, FAQ’s, events, tournaments and of course badges and I hope to answer some of those questions in this “DIY-guide” to climbing up the ranks of CUL.

I hope that in some way, a group of us can form here on the forums to be “goto” members on different ways to contribute to the community moving forward, but you have to start somewhere…

1. Introduction

First of all, I’d like to say that for general questions about CUL and how it works, head to this thread, ask and you shall receive. All the members there have done a great job of helping out others.

This guide completely disregards the idea of post count. When I started here as a CUL 1 a year ago, I didn’t focus so much on post count, more so on what I posted. This guide plays on that point as CUL is generally awarded to helpful and positive members of the Community. Below are a list of things that I’ve done and that I’ve seen others do to get ahead as a valued member of the community.
