“I’ve been involved in my fair share of contests over the years, be that at Street Machine Shows, Hot Rod Shows, Van Shows, The Street Machine Nationals (which I help set up and organize many years ago) and now that I’m into gaming, seeing this just bring oddles of warm fuzzy memories of octane burning fuel engines, burnt rubber and BIG black lines flooding back into this aging memory bank. . . Not to mention lots of head snapping eyeballing from the crowds as you’d crawl past them to show your pride an joy off, giving it little ‘jabs’ of the throttle to just nip it up a little and let them hear the roar and crackle of the engine and allow it to slid back to the rumpy-rump at idle . . . .
But to the story at hand. GAME™ has started here in Australia not that long ago, and in that time, they have continued to open store after store. Revamping all the older The Games Wizards stores they acquired in the buy-out a few years ago, and continue to invest in even more stores
“Their stores are always clean, well presented and have a huge range of games from all platforms suppliers. They even have their own GAME™ Branded components now such as Controllers, Battery Chargers, accessories galore for all the major platforms. They do the usual Price Matching, Extended Warranties. Including the usual $3 and $5 Lifetime Game Disc Insurance and the like. But the biggest thing I’ve found very helpful about them over the time, is the staff. They are friendly, always willing and ‘able’ to ‘talk shop’, and do so with some well rounded knowledge of games.

They actually know about games because they are gamers, and GAME™ makes sure they know what they are talking about when they finally end up in the stores. GAME™ are always actively seeking people to become managers and skilled staff who want to set themselves up in a career in the gaming industry. And what better way to win over many younger gamers, than to offer such great prizes.
Or even this Old-Gamer for that matter, I had to sell my Aprillia recently, bloody great bikes btw . . . Hey, this would make a neat Birthday surprise . . . 55 next month, I can actually see myself cruzin’ down the highway with my bum firmly strapped into that . . . hmmmm.
But hey, enough of that, we’re here to tell you about the BIG prize, the Custom Built Hand crafted 360 themed Chopper worth $AUD80,000 . . . and from the pics so far, it looks the treat, and YES, I’ll be nabbing a 3rd 360 just so I can go into the draw . . . as this is ONE prize I definitely want my finger in the pie for, no second thoughts . . . even if I have to sell the cats . . . mmeeeooowwww – opps there they go down the back yard. I think they sort of guessed I was looking for them . .
If you’re into mechanical construction of kind or tinker with anything mechanical, you can see the work that is going into this bike. Having spent many years as a Custom Car builder a Custom Painter painting Candy and Pearl and Muraled Street Rods, Street Machines around NSW as well a few Choppers for some of the Angles and other bikers . . . I can see the detail of what this will look like when it’s rolling down the highway (sound like a good name for a song). . . nothing short of fan-bloody-tastic . .
Here’s Games Official Blurb on the Contest from GAME™, so read it and weep people, and if you’ve been thinking about that new console, then think no more, nab one now or through until the end of May, and you can go into the draw for the Big One, or the other 7 great prizes on offer. That’s if I don’t beat you to it.

It’s a work in progress mate, I’m sure someone will point that out before it hits the street, if not, I sure will.
I’m going to try and get GAME to approve us to go and take some snaps of it as it gets further down the track and update the article with its progress . .
After having ridden, and also painted and built bikes, I’d sure as hell love to be cruzin’ around on that thing. Although, having a “ridged arse) Typer of rear end) it sure wouldn’t be kind to your back or body in general.
NIce bike but no good for me – 1. I can’t ride a bike and 2. My closest GAME store is about 5 hours away.
I think they stuffed the buttons up too, the B and the X should be swapped.
