A select Number of GAME-AU stores to open Midnight Monday.

“`I’ve attended several midnight launch’s over the years, and there’s always “something” in the air about them . . something that makes you want to go back for another. It’s the anticipation of getting the game you’ve pre-order MONTHS ago, as well as seeing and talking with fellow gamers, and GAME-au’s Midnight release of GTAIV’s will no doubt arouse the same feelings and butterflies within my tender tummy. GAME has been very active in supporting events for gamers since taking over the old The Games Wizards company, and have run several pre-release evenings with some had decent turnouts at them I might add.

“`This Monday evening, gamers who have pre-ordered their copies of GTAIV from GAME are invited to attend the Midnight Release of the game so you can get your greasy hands on Niko’s mad adventure story and visit Liberty City and get all banged up doing so (in game of course)

Simply head along to one of the stores mentioned below at around 11.30 pm Monday evening the 28th, and bring your wallet with you as well. GAME will also be having some great Midnight Only Specials available for the evenings event, and the last time I went to one, I was able to nab around 7 games for under $100, and they were all great titles, not just junk.

I’ll be attending the Broadway event, and hopefully taking a few snaps to share with those who couldn’t make it, or who were smart gamers, and curled up in bed nice and warm. If you feel adventurous, and want to grab your game right on the stroke of midnight, and have pre-ordered from GAME, then head along to their store tonight at 11.30pm for the midnight release. Don’t forget to “Call A Friend” and make sure they get their copy on time as well . . . perhaps I’ll see you there.
