Well the comp is over, and the winners have been chosen –

which wasn’t an easy task I might add.

“`We’d like really to thank all those who did take the time out to enter the competition, as without you doing so, we simply can’t run these competitions in the first place. It’s hard to pick winners, as there are heaps of great entries and many of them right on 50 words, which is great, just what we really wanted. Although, we did have a few that went well above the 50 word limit, which also made for some very interesting reading actually. Hmm something about reading the rules of the competition first usually helps hehehehe

However, We will be getting in contact with the winners asap and their entries will be placed up on the site for all to read probably a little later tonight, and their prizes will be posted out to them within the next few days once we get their personal details.

Again, thanks to all those who did enter, and we trust you will have a go at the next competition we run very soon. We are working on some rather big comps later on in the year which could well include hardware, but more on that later.

“When speaking of finishing moves one phrase comes to mind, that is “face meltingly badass boomerang”. vastly underused in ninja games, the effect of a handpainted aboriginal boomerang flying around the screen, taking out the odd arm, leg, or werewolf who doesn’t appreciate native culture is both educational and killtastic.”

“Throwing ninja stars at every orifice of your enemy, followed by a slice and dice with your Katana Blade to carve him up as sashimi. Then wasabi, chilli sauce and mustard is sprayed on and gobbled up by whales. Finally, it’s passed through the digestive system and canned as spam.”

“Cut the spinal cord of an enemy after countering with the Dragon Sword and then totally dismembering them while they’re lay on the floor limp, only able to watch in horror. While they’re bleeding to death I shove an incendiary shuriken into their mouth and watch their head go BANG.”

“I call it the “Twinkle twinkle stars of death” Essentially an ultra combo of 1,000 ninja stars launched at the enemy within a couple of seconds.”

Ninja Gaiden 2 has finally made it to that little disc tray we call home. To celebrate the release of this long awaited title, we’ve got 2 copies of the game Ninja Gaiden II for Xbox 360 to give away along with some free months of Xbox Live to the winning entrants.
