b“PART TWO: Each year E3 brings with it various “speculations” – Rumours (rumors) and “What-Ifs” spread across the internet, and we here at XboxOZ36–gamer are no different in coming up with our own speculations, rumours and gossip.

In Part Two, we look at other Team Members ideas, wishes and thoughts around E3-’08 and how they might like to see things go when the day eventually rolls on.

“`As explained in Part One, we didn’t want to barrage you with 12 team members thoughts and wishes all at once, aside from it being a huge amount of text, it would just be way too much to digest in one sitting. E3-’08 is no small feat, and therefore requires careful consideration when looking at what might, and what might not appear at the event.

With the ESA loosing support, many of the longer standing supporters will no longer be in attendance, but that doesn’t mean to say the place will be empty of without support. So as in Part One, we are going to let some of the remaining staff members speak for themselves and tell you what interests them most, not just for the 360, but also for the Wii and PS3.

The Top 10 lists that everybody loves will still come (albeit with a twist), but you’ll have to wait till next week for those. In the meantime have a read of our individual contributors Top 5 picks and maybe even get to know a little bit about their gaming likes and dislikes!

As an added incentive, we will be running a “Reader’s Top 10 for E3″ the night before E3 ’08 officially begins on July 14-17th 2008. So get those comments flowing on our E3-’08 articles and tell us if someone’s picks/wishes/desires are wrong, dead-on or on another planet! The funniest and cleverest suggestions might just make the list and win you some Mystery “Live” Prizes like MS points, Live subscriptions and some cool XBLA titles.

So let’s continue checking out more What-If’s, Rumours & Prayers for E3 ’08.

Top Pick 6

James (Jim) McIntyre (Gamertag: Sith Lord Jim)

With a year so full of incredible releases already this E3 is sure to be full to the brim with seemingly amazing upcoming releases. Of course there is really only one game on my mind this year (Gears of War 2 how I love you.), but there are some things that I might allow on my mind if they were to be announced.

My Top 5 Wishes for the 360 @ E3

5) Super Smash Siblings Combat.

Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros series has some sort of magic in its recipe, and it’s an idea that I think Microsoft should jump on the bandwagon of. Call me crazy, but I’m eager to lay the smack down on Crash Bandicoot with Master Chief. Microsoft are already mimicking the motion sensor so why not attempt to mimic some of Nintendo’s better titles.

3) Mass Effect 2.

I don’t care what anyone says, this game was one of the best games of 2007. If it were not for the frame rate issue and the constant pop-in this would have been the best game of 2007. Hopefully all of these things will be fixed for the next foray into the Mass Effect universe.

3) Knights of the Old Republic 3.

Don’t get me wrong I love Mass Effect, but its just not Star Wars. This series is without a doubt my favourite game series to date. I would quite likely scream like a school girl if this was to be announced. More so if it included some multiplayer element.

2) Elder Scrolls Online.

If there is any series best suited to an MMORPG it would have to be the Elder Scrolls series. With a myriad of classes, races, and a great storyline this game would be amazing.

1) Metal Gear Solid 4.

We all know it isn’t coming, doesn’t stop a man from dreaming though! I do love the PS3, but there is just something about achievements and Xbox Live that makes me want MGS4 on the 360 more and more with each passing day.

My Wish for the PS3 @ E3

Bring back the backwards compatibility. Enough said.

My Wish for the Wii @ E3

A headset for online play. What is the point of playing online if you can not gloat to the people you defeat?

My Wish for the PC @ E3

Warhammer Online to hurry the hell up!

Top Pick 7

Aaron Vanston (Gamertag: ACJ2323)

My top wishes for E3. I will be focusing on games and software for my wishes as I don’t see hardware advances like the Wiimote attachment for the 360 being that huge, it might bring a small aspect that we have not seen yet towards the 360 but will never beat what the 360 already has to offer. Mainly the games I want to see are sequels from previously unbelievable games and even ones that did not do so well first time round, but are now ready to pack a punch.

My Top 5 Wishes for the 360 @ E3

5) Improvements/Updates For XBL and Services

I would like to see what Microsoft has planned for upcoming advances for the Xbox 360 and also to see some improvements in Xbox Live services, by giving us a preview in some of the stuff we will be seeing in upcoming Xbox Live updates maybe?

4) Saints Row 2

Saint’s Row 2 is competing with one of the biggest and most controversial games in Grand Theft Auto IV, to see how strongly it compares to GTA would be an insight into the quality of further games from Volition such as Red Faction: Guerrilla.

3) Doom 4

As one of the most well known series of games, this has been said to be the start of the FPS genre itself with Doom and Doom 2. To see some news on this soon to be, largely anticipated game would be fantastic.

2) Far Cry 2

So far from what I have seen this game impresses me, with its seamless design and flow that you feel a part of the game experience due to the high level of graphic and level design. It is using the Xbox 360′s full potential and is going to be a big hit when it is released. To see anything new at E3 on Far Cry 2 (Africa) would satisfy me greatly, even though I’m already drawn in.

1) Gears of War 2

This is my all time favourite and most anticipated game, and sure to be many others. To see the major and vast improvements at E3 would be immense, particularly some more in-depth information and footage from the single player.

My Wish for the PC @ E3

With a certain uprising in the number of players that participate in online gaming such as myself that use community programs like Steam, any game with a decent online component will do well on the PC game market. Games that also feature on other consoles like Saints Row 2, Fallout 3 and Far Cry 2 are sure to be massive hits on the PC as well. I would definitely like to see these games presented for PC at E3-’08.

Top Pick 8

Aaron Bertinetti (Gamertag: TWODOGSz)

E3-’08, is quite possibly the most important in many years. Nintendo appears out of killer apps but is still selling like hotcakes, Sony is gaining ground largely on the back of quality exclusives like MGS4 and the 360 appears to be at the halfway point of its cycle in a much better spot than many had earlier predicted. So here comes the wishful thinking…

My Top 5 Wishes for the 360 @ E3

5) The 360 Does Casual Well… Shockingly Well.

It seems a near certainty that we’ll see the Newton unveiled at E3 this year, but my firm belief is it has to differentiate from the Wii to be successful (Minority Report?). Even then, to be a casual success they need to back it up. I want to see a new motion dashboard, the rumoured Avatars, a bunch of new casual titles and a lot of the lower priced casual XBLA titles made free for Silver members.

4) RPG Heaven.

The 360 has quickly defined itself as the console of choice for the RPG gamer. We’ve got fantastic exclusives from Square and Namco announced and some great multiplatform titles such as Fallout 3, Alpha Protocol and Rise of the Argonauts on the horizon. But yet we haven’t heard from two of the 360′s most important players. At E3 I want Bioware to unveil at least one title from their Jade Empire, KOTOR, Mass Effect and Dragon Age franchises. I also want to know what Mistwalker has planned. Blue Dragon was good, I loved Lost Odyssey and Cry On looks fantastic, so details please and maybe even some sequels?!

3) Molyneux Fulfils His Promise.

Peter Molyneux has always had a major role in my gaming life, with his exceptional Bullfrog and Lionhead back catalogue. But he also has a habit of grandiose statements, and although he’s been better behaved than past times, I want proof that Fable 2 lives up to the hype. So show me that, blow me away and then true to form unveil the “Dimitri” AI project to ensure my jaw stays firmly fixed to the ground!

2) A Rare Trifecta.

I love Rare. The fact that I spent 50+hrs on Viva Pinata is a good sign. So naturally I want to see more of Viva Pinata 2 – Party Animals and their secret projects (KI3, Avatars, Conker, motion games, etc). But most important to me is Banjo Kazooie 3 – Nuts-N-Bolts. Despite the uncertainty and derision of some corners, previews and industry insiders are clearly excited. Just show me why I should be to.

1) A Hardcore Royal Flush.

Microsoft has been uncharacteristically quiet on a number of titles. So at the press conference unveil the hidden lineup. Give me Alan Wake, Halo Chronicles, Forza 3, Halo Wars and Bungie’s new project and I’ll be pleased as punch knowing that 2009 is already shaping up as another sublime year for the Xbox 360.

My Wish for the PS3 @ E3

Now that it’s found some momentum I have but one request…

Stop making promises and start delivering! Stop telling me how good Home, Little Big Planet, Resistance 2, FFXIII and Killzone 2 are going to be and start showing me why. I want to see hands on gameplay, some downloadable demos and maybe even a public beta or two.

My Wish for the Wii @ E3

DS compatibility. I love the fact I can play GameCube titles on my Wii, but why not DS titles? I’d love to play Professor Layton, Advance Wars and The World Ends With You on a bigger screen, so please Nintendo fix it!

My Wish for the PC @ E3

Just show me more of Spore. The game’s concepts are no less than evolutionary (sorry), and I’d just like to see them in play. Sell me the game, the experience and why this is the title to beat for game of the year.

Top Pick 9

Grant Smythe (GamerTag: XboxOZ360)

My Top 5 Wishes for the 360 @ E3

5) Announcements regarding Jasper or Next Motherboard

I’d really like some definite announcements around whether or not they will be including the new Jasper Motherboard this year, which will be followed up by the Opus and then the Valhalla, which is said to be the unified CPU and GPU motherboard that MS Xbox-Div will be using in their Next-Xbox (x720 is their official code name for it btw). No wthat the Falcon Motherboard is pumping out 360′s that don’t fail anything lik ethe early original motherboards, MS do need to assure punters that what they are buying is rock solid now.

Many still believe the newer 360′s to be like the original ones, which is NOT the case, so some infor there and on the Netwon would be great.

4) New IP’s – Mirror’s Edge – Damnation – Dead Space etc

Probably one of the better games coming out on the 360 (and other platforms) which will have a new style of game-play mechanics. Some will either love it, or just hate it, but we need fresh ideas in many of the genre’s out now, and while everyone clammers for innovation, when it comes along, they start shouting “why did you change it” etc . . Scratches head. Games such as Damnation, Dead Space, The Crossing, HAWX, Bayonetta and the Aussie creation – Edge Of Twilight which are some I’d like to get more detailed info one. the list is huge on upcoming games, far more than even last year, and 2009 looks set to even top 2008.

3) Far Cry 2

This game will stretch the 360 nicely, and show many that the 360 can in fact pump out some amazing feats of processing power as well as graphical power. The difference between the PC and 360 versions so far are small, even Ubisoft have come out and said this, so seeing more of this game at E3-’08 would be great. Again, it’ll be a game that will test many, as they will be expecting something along the lines of Far Cry: Instincts, but this is nothing like it, no monsters, no mad scientist, just a mad arms dealer out to make a world where suffering exists for his financial gain – The Jackal.

2) Price Cuts across the board

With Europe getting a price cut earlier in the year to combat PS3 movements forward in the region, MS Xbox-Div need to drop the price across the board on all models and in all regions. While the last few quarters have seen MS making a profit on each 360, and a price drop would effectively wipe that profit out, the increase in user-base and Live adopters would far out weigh the loss they would suffer in the hardware price drop. They’d be fools not to do it now. It’s the perfect time to do so, even many of the major analyst believe so.

1) New changes to Xbox Live and the Avatar System

The new XboxLive 3D Avatar system would be interesting, but I hope it’s not going t o replace what we currently have, and is simply an add-on to what exists at the moment. As the system they have now works well, and has helped brand them into the ethos of many gamers worldwide. Changing that now would mean a lose of support, whereas if it was an addition and an enhancement, then it could work really well. The social Networking aspects of XboxLive could really expand if it is introduced in the right way, and hopefully ahead of Sony’s Home.

  1. i have to agree the focus should still definately be on single player, im just hoping they do some sort of extra, kind of like MGO with metal gear solid 4, or even just one good online game mode like legendary is doing.

so it wouldnt be the focus, just a secondary feature to increase a games longevity after a couple of playthroughs

  2. Yeah I can’t help but agree Oz. But the financial pull on MP may well be too much for 2K/EA!

  3. BioShocks storyline just doesn’t support the notion of MP, nore will it. It’s main aim is to keep the integrity of the story intact, rather than waste assets and staff time on creating a MP aspect, which woul dneed onsiderable efforts to incorporate properly.

Personally I’d rather they simply stay dedicated to the story they have with BioShock 2 and BioShock 3, as some games just do NOT need to have MP. There’s a huge sea of MP based games out there to fill everyone’s Christmas stocking full to busting with MP goodness. Why ruin a great story JUST to include something that will have nothing to do with the story of the game, just to cater for ppl wanting to run a-muck and frag everyone.

Keep that for the likes of Halo 2/3, COD series, Bears, etc etc etc. Leave games like BioShock, Assassin’s Creed, Alan Wake, etc alone, they do NOT “need” a MP aspect.

  4. @Dogma

Bioshock 2 multiplayer? Wow, I have no idea what that’d be like, but if they have a mode where I can play as a Big Daddy I’m sold!

As for a Magenta Box… Hell yeah! Just throw in Half Life 2 Ep 3 and I’m sold. I think Portal 2 is still a while off. :(

  5. all i want to see is what 2k games are gonna do with bioshock 2 as far as multiplayer is concerned..
no one can pretend the thought of running around as an amped up splicer taking on big daddies online isnt awesome.

ooohhh and im keen to see if valve put left 4 dead in another “box” (maybe the magenta box) because i dont know if i want to pay rrp for it alone.

  6. Mate, I still get chills down my spine when I hear the Halo music in the Halo 3 menu. I won’t be calling anyone a nerd.

  7. I am not a fan of Halo. It is merely a personal preference, just as Dimorphic isn’t keen on JRPG’s. However, Halo 3 somewhat ended in a ‘cliffhanger’. Master Chief is supposedly dead, yet, after the credits – he is alive in another dimension.

I don’t think Halo 4 will be seen this gen, but I believe it is bound to be out for the future XBOX console. As I said, I dislike Halo. But to be honest, it made the XBOX name what it is today. If I walk down the street, 9/10 people are vaguely familiar with the Halo name. It had it’s own soft drink for heavens sake :D .

As for RPG’s, the 360 is becoming flourished with them. The only one it will not grab is Final Fantasy 13 (which I dig).

But seriously, who cares? Think of it this way. Two years ago, you would be laughed at if you said Devil May Cry 4 would appear on the Xbox 360. You would be laughed at if you said Square would produce 2 (and one timed) exclusive RPG’s for the 360.

Things change, money talks. Here is hoping Infinite Undiscovery, Star Ocean 4 and Last Remnant are titles that sell well.

I mean, if Final Fantasy XIII was announced on the XBOX 360, I would cry. Literally. Cry in joy and jump up and down; call me a nerd, because I am one.

    - Moe.

  8. I don’t think it’ll happen with Halo 4. I’m putting myself out there I know, but I can’t imagine a Halo 4 FPS being unveiled at E3 as it would draw too much attention away from the key Christmas franchises and MS’s other surprise announcements. It would also go completely against their push for the casual gamer, by reaffirming their hardcore, Halo & Shooter dependence!

What I think is far more likely, if not a certainty, is that we’ll see the expansion of the Halo universe largely without Master Chief with a very different experience in Halo: Chronicles – hopefully presented by Peter Jackson and Frank formerly of Bungie; and the first great console RTS in Halo Wars by Ensemble. The surprise announcement will be that at least one if not both of these will be released this year.

Alan Wake is my darkhorse chance as another title for the Christmas lineup as is, albeit to a lesser extent, Forza 3. Both offer something not already in the lineup, further diversifying beyond shooters.

Bungie will no doubt have a hand in the above Halo proceedings but I think if they are to present anything it is far more likely to be a new IP/project along the “Superintendent” rumours they’ve been dropping left, right and centre. I have no doubt, they’re working on Halo 4, but from a business and marketing perspective it makes no sense to announce such at E3 at the expense of other titles in the lineup and the still strongly performing Halo 3.

  9. I’m not a fan of JRPGs. I thought Lost Odyssey was good but other than that I haven’t been able to stand them.

Western RPGs IMO just beat them out for gameplay, story and substance. I wouldn’t mind seeing news on a new Elder Scrolls game.

Also, looking back at what I said about Halo 4, the rumours are getting stronger. Perhaps something will be announced? What ever happens with the Halo franchise if the main game (that being Halo) is handed to anyone but Bungie (as MS own the rights to Halo, not Bungie) the game will suck. Please oh please do not fall into a Call of Duty/Treyarch/IW cycle.

  10. @Belgavion

Eternal Darkness 2 and the whole Bullfrog back catalogue would do my decade! =D

    @Moe

Yeah Blue Dragon wasn’t my cup of tea… and “good” was the nicest thing I could say about a game that didn’t interest me but seemed to please many. Lost Odyssey on the other hand was fantastic and the best JRPG I’ve played this gen. Can’t wait for a LO2! Maybe Mack will become more prominent?

And out of the Square games, Star Ocean looks amazing, Infinite Undiscovery is all in real time and looks very epic (2discs), whilst Last Remnant is another one to add to the list but in all honesty is not my thing and seems to lack the polish of the other two… so far.

Wouldn’t it be awesome if Square of Namco came out with even more titles for 360?!

  11. TWODOGz raises some amazingly good points and predictions, especially on his fourth entry – “RPG Haven”. I really would like to see at least some news about Hironobu Sakaguchi’s upcoming ‘Cry On’ game. I put 65 hours into Lost Odyssey; it has without a doubt been my most favourite XBOX 360 title, it drew me in to the end and immersed me like no other 360 game could.

Although being a little outdated, I didn’t mind. I was playing Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger when I was eight years old. It was great for Lost Odyssey to let me remember my earlier childhood in a Next Generation fashion.

I have to say, I did not share such love for Blue Dragon. The fighting elements were decent; but there was no incentive for me to keep playing. Everything in Blue Dragon felt, how should I say it? Flat.

Blue Dragon lacked narrative and it had no reason to keep me playing. The only reason I nearly finished it was because I was wondering “when will this pick up?” But to my luck, it never did, not like Lost Odyssey – which drew me through to the end.

Furthermore, Cry On will come. Sakaguchi said himself, that he believes ‘The gamer will cry every 15 minutes. That is how emotional my game is.’ So in my opinion, he already has the narrative down. Now we just need to see the art style and combat elements.

More so, legendary japanese company ‘Square’ have somewhat begun to support the Xbox 360. Infinite Undiscovery looks amazing, but I have already seen the videos on IGN; as it is due out in September. I would like Square to make an appearence with more information about Last Remnant (which is a timed exclusive) and Star Ocean 4, another exclusive. These games look stunning.

I would be bold enough to say that Microsoft should definately produce news about these upcoming titles, maybe advertise them as ‘main stays’. They are beginning to take the more ‘casual’ role are they not? Because let me tell you, I bought my PS3 for RPG’s. I got screwed, as the 360 will soon be filled with them.

It is a great time to be a JRPG gamer. It is a great time to remember my childhood with a touch of Next Generation equipment.

    - Moe.

  12. Totally agree Dimorphic!

I dont personally want to see a Halo 4 it would ruin what the franchise has to build on the environment.

Halo wars is looking awesome and i can’t t see more of it this year at E3 and hopefully M$ start unveiling the Halo Chronicles because that would just make my day.

  13. Haha, as I said mate, no worries.

There have been a few rumours starting around a possible annoucement of Halo 4. I’m gonna say right now that it won’t happen, nor do I really want it to happen.

The trilogy as it is at the moment is almost perfect. Leave it as is, don’t ruin it which a new game very well could.

  14. I would be pleased with any of the following:

    - Eternal Darkness 2 for PS3/360
    - MGS4 for 360
    - Complete gamercard and dashboard rehaul
    - Theme Hospital for XBLA (this would make my decade!)

  15. Quite true, I certainly can’t afford or desire to spend that amount just to play one or two games, when I can get my full share of games on the 360, many of which I struggle to complete anyway, and sit there waiting to be played.

I think many are caught up in the “I must haveit or I’m not cool” school of thought. Having some say that you’re not a ‘real gamer’ if you don’t have all 3 platforms or at least the 2 major ones. What a load of crock. If many of them lived life on a limited and finite income where every dollar mattered, they’d be saying something completely different.

Oh, and a BIG Shout-out to you mate (Dimorphic) for the pick-up you found last night on the site. It’s really nice to know that other sites keep an eye out on each other and help were possible.

Dimorphic found a major gaff in the reviews page and let me know which was fixed post-haste . . . thanks again mate.

  16. That’s totally right. Not to mention that I don’t really want a PS3. The only game I want on the system is MGS4 and in my opinion spending $700+ for the console and game isn’t worth it, no matter how good the game is (unless its Halo 3 :P ).

  17. I think you’ll find many do want MGS4 on the 360 simply because many can’t afford two systems and their associated software and hardware items.

SO having all the great games on one platform makes sense to a huge number of people. I for one can’t afford a PS3, but I loved seeing and playing MGS4 at the Black Beta night we attended when MGS4 was released here in Australia last month. But It’s just one of just a few games I like on the PS3, and so it doesn’t warrant me spending almost $AU1000 on the console and the games and a Dual Shock controller (which should come as part of the package, NOT an optional extra)

  18. Ok why the **** do you want MGS4?just get a ps3 and play that game

    My E3 wish list

-Xbox Live becoms free(I wish lol)
    -KOTOR 3
    -Killer Instimct 3
    -PlaystationHome
    –Xbox 360 price reduce

    i thats it

  19. I don’t think an MS Smash Bros is cheesy at all!!! I think it would sell like hotcakes and be a perfect way to use the popular characters from games on 360 into a more casual game that would then attract people to buy the ‘real’ games and so on…Nintendo has mastered the art of crossing their characters into other sorts of games and it works. A less ‘cutsie’ but still cartoonyish Microsoft version would work. And who cares if it is copying…who isn’t right now.

  20. Reading these top 5 lists are getting me pumped for E3 because it just helps me decide what i want Santa to bring me for Xmas :P

I totally with most of what Twodogz is saying with the Newton Controller. They have the technology in going with the team from Minority Report, but can they capitalize in that it is not just another Wiimote?

I can’t wait to see more information on Doom 4, Gears of War 2, GH4, Far Cry 2 etc because i believe these games will define each category they belong in, the talent is becoming more engaging and bigger and better games are starting to be made because developers are starting to figure out the functionality of the consoles.

Price cutting as OZ said would do M$ well, it’d be the perfect incentive for a consumer to buy with these great titles to come, if this price cut came to Aus, i would certainly buy a brand new console to take advantage of the situation.

The one dream with Metal Gear Solid 4 to be on the 360 would just be awesome, it would save me $600 because i am seriously considering buying a PS3 just for this title, although in saying that, with all the new games coming to the PS3 such as Killzone 2, Home, FF13 theres enough incentive for me to buy a PS3, but the thing stopping me is the promises that Sony aren’t delivering.
This is annoying because Sony have the potential to go big and beyond and to me its like they are just taking things for granted and what they have to remember that Next-Gen gaming is right around the corner. “Oh Crap”

Overall, E3 IMO will be the best one to date because it will truly show what the big companies can deliver under the pressure it has been under by consumers and media a like.

  21. One FPS we’ve not heard a lot about is, well – GRAW 3, yes, there’s another in the works, which has been for some time, along with the successor to Rainbow 3 Six. A completely new story on both of them. SO don’t be too surprised if some mention of hint of them popping their heads up within the next 12-18 months.

One game that MIGHT get a mention at E3 and which everyone has seemingly forgotten “could” be on the cards for MS as a 1st party game is Forza 3. My best bet it will be out this financial, which ends for MS at the end of the 1st quarter of ’06, so I’m figuring a March release fo that, right at the end of March to be precise.

One thing that many gamers are seeing, is a huge shift in placing games on the 360 rather than the PC, or, placing them on both and then on the PS3 as a last option. Not that it’s a slug of a machine, quite the opposite. But it has proven time and time again from developers that it IS a pain to work with, and with them reducing their GPU soon in the next iteration update of the PS3, they could see further headaches if the memory processing isn’t sorted, which is it Achilles heal.

  22. I’d LOVE to see Knights of the Old Republic 3 announced, but it’s been pretty well documented (just go to Kotaku and search KOTOR 3) that both Lucasarts and Bioware are not doing anything with KOTOR 3 at the moment. Lucasarts I would think would be pimping The Force Unleashed at E3 this year.

Staying with RPGs for a second, I totally agree with Sith Lord Jims view of Mass Effect. I loved every second of it, and the framerate/texture issues didn’t quell my enjoyment of what truly was a fantastic space-fairing RPG. I’m not sure if we will see anything on ME2 at E3 but if we do I would like to know how they plan to port characters across from the first game, as well as the improvements they have made to the side missions.

Also, Fable 2 is my most anticipated title of 2008 (move over GTAIV) so I am just hanging out for any tidbit of information about it (release date please Lionhead). We might also get news about the XBLA mini games.

Moving onto FPSs, I think we will see some new campaign footage from Gears 2. It will probably be a part of the MS keynote (so will Fable 2) so not doubt what they have will be epic (ala the Halo 3 campaign trailer last year).

Stepping away from MS properties, Doom 4 will get a push from iD. They have been relativley quiet about what they are doing with Doom 4, in fact we haven’t heard anything really since they announced the game, so I’m looking for something from their corner.

Plus I am a rather large Diablo fan so I cannot wait to see what Blizzard have in store for us regarding Diablo 3!

  23. As cheesy as Jim’s MS Smash Bros idea is, I’d buy it! Maybe that’s what RARE should be doing instead of the rumoured KI3?

Mass Effect 2 is at the top of my most wanteds and Grant’s mention of Mirror’s Edge and Dead Space certainly has me intrigued.

As for price cuts and an even better LIve experience… Bring it on!
