News Just In from E3 ‘08
In this section here, we will supply you with links for news items, updates, video links and stored footage for you as we get it from E3 related to any Xbox360 game technology or software item we come across. Our main aim is to keep you informed and save you traversing all over the net. This is our first E3, so be gentle with us, as we’re not IGN or Team Xbox or GameSpot.
We are just dedicated Xbox360 community supporters like you that simply want to share the news with other like-minded mature gamers. And we don’t mean mature as in age, as sadly we’ve found many an adult behaving like a 5 year old at times.
Basically we’ll attempt to supply you with as much information in one place related to the Xbox360 as possible. If you hear of something really news-worthy, and want to help us and share it with the rest of the Xbox 360 Community, then slip us an email toot-sweet and we’ll help you publish your little bit of news on this site.

• iD & Activision announce Wolfenstien for the x360
Finally, the news every x360 owner has been waiting for, Wolfenstien “confirmed for the 360″ at last. We knew it was coming, but many gamers not partial to the 360 were always saying that it’ll never appear on the 360 (or any console) as it’s a solid PC title blah blah blah . . However, we’ve had it listed in our Xbox 360 Upcoming Games Listing for almost 2 years, and fended off many a naysayer with pointed joysticks at ten paces.
Now we have the news we’ve been waiting for, and by the looks of it, this E3 ‘08 is proving to be a Microsoft Xbox 360 gamers bonanza with regards to games being confirmed, the new Live Experience, the Avatars, Movie rentals via NetFlix (Aust has its own equivalent of NetFlix btw), not to forget the HUGE news of Final Fantasy XIII on the 360 which just about every Sony fan was dreading and certainly STILL do not want to hear about.

• Gears of War 2 Videos
This will be game of the year for 2008. I do not have a shred of doubt in my mind. Well that’s if it even manages to get released in Australia. The more that gets shown of this title, the more worried I become and also all the more excited.

• Bethesda’s Excellent Fallout 3 & why Australia won’t get it!
This video shows the amazing depth that Fallout 3 will deliver, but unfortunately for us Australian’s, we’ll have to rely on imported copies of the game and even harder to get Collectors Editions of the game. As the OLFC in its infinite wisdom have Refused Classification of the game in Australia due to the use of Morphine Injections to combat pain within the game.

• Resident Evil 5 Co-op Gameplay
Heres a game we were all already excited about. Then they went and announced online co-op and now here we are salivating over the premise of this title. Its just like I always say “the only thing better than killing zombies, is killing zombies with a friend.”

• Square Enix Announces Final Fantasy XIII for 360 !
Following that news is the huge news around Final Fantasy XIII coming to the Xbox 360. And as predicted right here on XboxOZ360-gamer, the title arrives this year due hugely to Square Enix seeing the viability of their premier title gaining more users by moving across to the Xbox Platform for this title. That’s 2 titles from Square Enix on the 360, one exclusive and one Multiplatform. The sony boys are NOT going to be happy about this one little bit.

• Rare’s 3d Avatar’s hit our TV screens.
Well the debate whether or not the 360 would get its cute little 3D Avatars is over, as Rare-developed virtual characters appear that will lead Xbox Live’s new look interface’s ‘reinvention’ and head their new PrimeTime TV and Game Channel. But will this be a global roll-out, I presume so,as it has no real limits logistically, and the would need it across the board for it to work properly. But weirder things have happened in the past, so time will tell.

If there’s been one reason above any other to own a 360 it’s the exclusives. This year the confirmed titles make a lineup that’s close to the best we’ve seen, the only question is what made the top 10 and how do we rate the big hitters in Gears 2, Fable 2, Halo Wars and Banjo-Kazooie.

Here at XboxOZ360-gamer we’re gamers first. And so when we see a great exclusive on another platform we can’t help but notice. However, our preference for gaming happens to be the 360, so we’ve devised a list of the exclusive titles we’d most like to see come across to our platform of choice at E3 08. So with a hope and a prayer, please forgive us in advance as we pick the cream from PS3, Wii and PC crops!
