I am pissed because the game is called FAR CRY 2 which means it’s a sequel to FAR CRY and it’s supposed to continue the story or at least be in the same environment.

You must be some inbred retard, it’s like having a game called “Half-Life 3″ and then they give you some crap that not only is it not worth the name but has no connection to “Half-Life 2″ whatsoever.

I don’t care if they have said it has nothing to do with the first one heck it could have been alight if the game was good instead of it being the peace of shit that it is. The AI is horribad you have useless warehouses not to mention the boring ass driving you have to do in order to get to a mission.

So don’t you dare defend those (people – NB: no swearing or abusive language on this site) for using the good name of the first game to lure in people who think it would be like the first game. This game should have been called “Peace of shit”, this name suits it more.

Ubisoft and Crytek are completely 2 different development studios. Fair enough you didn’t like the game but seriously stop winging and complaining that it isn’t anything like the first FarCry and doesn’t feature anything from it because in the year leading up to it’s release Ubisoft Montreal had said time and time again it has absolutely nothing to do with the original FarCry.

Folks, I got about 50% through the game and stopped out of pure boredom. For those that think an “open map” is something new and special…get a life.

While the voices are authentic, the voice acting sounds like each line that is delivered is rushed and in many cases no very convincing (on many that you encounter not all).

The game does look great but the character models pale in comparison to many games.

Aside from this the game is really quite awesome.

Agreed definately a candidate, one with a really good chance of winning aswell.

Anyways, yeah this game will def be a GOTY candidate… along with a dozen or so others. XD
