So, are you broke yet? With the huge number of quality 360 games out this year you should be! Just have a look at the nomination list below and it can be a bit of a head scratcher as to which is the best.
What critieria do you use? What makes a game THE Game of the Year? Do you go for a certain genre of game like a shooter or racer? Do you appreciate games that try to innovate more? Do games with the most exotic gorgeous environments catch your eye? Is your choice based on how much fun the game provides? Do you appreciate games with the best game design, or are you a firm believer in a strong narrative? Is top multiplayer what puts you in gamer heaven?
Or, do you ponder which game mixes the best of the above ingredients to come up with the perfect gaming experience? Well, it doesn’t matter to us how you do it, or what you choose.

Personal opinion: Burnout Paradise.
Not only is it a great game on its own; but the amount of community support that Criterion has poured into the game is endless. They have released multiple game changing downloads, all of which are FREE to anyone how has bought the game and have no plan of stopping anytime soon.
I wish people would read a bit. This IS a 360 site and even though we DID review MGS4, as an exceptional example of gaming on any console, it doesn’t belong in the list.
It’s fine saying MGS4 is your game of the year though. We’d love it to be on 360

To Mr Unknown, try checking out our Reviews page, you’ll find a MGS4 review in there . . no, not bagging the game, but actually giving the game top marks for being a “great game” . . . Here at OXCGN we’re “gamers” not “fanbois – so sorry to burst your bubble there . . .

And note the heading. That sort of blows your ship out of the water now – doesn’t it. But this is a Xbox site, and we are discussing games that came out on Multiplatform and Xbox . .not ALL games on ALL platforms . .
Other multiplatform sites can do that, we like to stay with what we know best.

FAIL. No MGS4????
It was amazing, but there were a lot of things in the game that fans of the series would love but gamers who just came to it would find overindulgent and long-winded. Some of the LONG cut-scenes were afternoon soap opera stuff.
Or even sillier…hiding in a box??? Walking around as a barrel?
Nevertheless, a top notch amazing game. Just far from perfect in my opinion.
Fallout 3 or Gears 2, but seriously, regardless of the consoles, Metal Gear Solid 4 deserves every single award including story, graphics, action adventure, original score, soundtrack, and Game of the Year 2008, and trust me i aint being a fanboy

You misspelled Battlefield: Bad Company and Saints Row 2. Says Battlefeild(failed!) and Siants Row.
