There are rumours that Sicily is also featured, though I’m not sure how that works…you’re right Verona is closer and makes sense. It also looks fairly certain that flight is going to be important. In some way as there have been code words on the site to decode:

EFBUI = Death, IFSP = Hero, VQHSBEF = Upgrade, BMBUPNZ = Anatomy and GMZ = Fly.

Venice is cool, not much vertical. Verona and Bergamo are close enough to Venice – maybe they will feature too. Milan and Florence would make sense too.

I liked the time period of the first better myself. I will enjoy this one too though.

Yes, that’s true, he was facsinated by their flight, and even the church had a go at him about that. They hinted that only god and birds could fly, and it was gods design NOT to make man fly – ever. WHich to Da Vinci was like a red flag to a bull.

His text was often written backwards not just mirrored backwards, so it took some desciphering to work out. BUt I’m sure if someone had a great HD screen, and used the original footage, rather that a capture from a screen, they could make some details out of it.

It was during this time he worked on his huge crossbow (and it was HUGE), that was recently built using the same techniques and machinery needed that would have been available at that time, the only thing they had to change was the wood for the actually flex box, as that style was not available anymore, . The thing worked as well, although it did need more power to move the arrow further than t did in the tests. This was achieved only a few years ago, so it proves his onjects could be done, even his wings were reconstructed and made as-per-plan . . the person wearing them did fly or a fashion for several hundred feet .. .

The text could unlock further details, and perhaps that is what will come next. The swimming sections would need to be explained, as would the under water sections of Venice he designed.

Leonardo spent time in Venice where he was hired as a military engineer…so it is plausible the game is in Venice and he’s involved…

About the bird thing, apparently Da Vinci was a vegetarian who “as a young man in Florence…often bought caged birds just to release them from captivity”.
