In a strange (and disturbing) turn of events for EA Sports Fight Night Round 4, the Xbox 360 version will be receiving an ‘exclusive’ cover athlete. Instead of the international cover image of Muhammad Ali squaring off against Mike Tyson, the Australian Xbox 360 cover art will incorporate Ali vs ‘The Man’, Anthony Mundine…

Anthony Mundine could be considered a strange choice for the cover of Fight Night Round 4, given his ‘either love or hate him’ persona, but this could actually benefit the games sales down-under if you consider the following statement. Who hasn’t wanted to knock ‘The Man’ out, now could be your chance.

Sydney, Australia. – Wednesday, May 20, 2009 – Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS) announced today that “The Man”, Anthony Mundine, and “The Greatest of All Time”, Muhammad Ali will share the Xbox 360 cover of one of the most anticipated games of 2009, Fight Night Round 4. Fight Night Round 4 is being developed under the EA SPORTS™ brand by EA Canada in Vancouver, B.C and will be available in Australian retail stores on July 2nd, 2009.
