and each one has been remodeled completely down to the fine wors on the switches and leather trim, Many may well say - so- big deal. Well same can be said of GT5's great detail on their cars, but we don't. Because it makes the cars much more immersive when they look great, like they do in Test Drive Unlimited, Forz3, GT5, Grid PGR.

Without that detail, we are simply sitting in a box with a car on a stick, The details take that feeling away.

And being in in-car-view in Grid and spinning over the top of another car and landing on the roof is scary as well as amazing.

Two things that had me jumping up and down for joy,(I'm not kidding everyone in our office must think I'm high after my little burst of excitement).

1: Rollovers....I must say it's about damn time. The amount of excitment that will add is gonna be awsome. I can see the carnage now.

2: Cockpit View.....How many of us can actually say that we have sat in the finest motor cars on the planet. To be honest I don't even know what the interior of a 911 GT3 looks like(one of my dream cars). Now I will be able to sit behind the virtual wheel of all of my favorite cars.

No, Forza does not have NASCAR, The NASCAR game does nor does it have WRC. Colin Mc Rae DiRT 1/2 do, which is great and where they belong.

Each genre should stay within their own fields, otherwise each one must make sacrifices in some aspects in order to accommodate the other. Be that in physics, gameplay, visuals or vehicles.

And PLEASE, associating both GT5 and Forza 3 with the likes of Split-Second (which is a Arcade racer knock-off the likes of Burnout etc). NFS Shift (an semi-arcade game, and a good one at that, but NOT of GT or Forza levels), BLUR (an absolute bastardised game if ever I saw one, Bizarre have lost my respect as a decent car developer) etc is absurd. Those games are not in the same league as both Forza and GT . . .not by a country mile. Very different sub-genres altogether mate. Learn a little about the various genres before throwing them all in the same basket.

If you're going to throw GT5 and Forza in with racing games, then you'd be throwing them in with the likes of V8 Supercar 2/3 of the past, V8 Superstars coming out of Italy this month, Race Pro which is definitely a racing sim and Grid to some extent, but is still arcade, but visually great and about RACING not damage and destruction. GT and Forza are about "Racing, racing the line and great looking manufacturers vehicles. Not nondescript vehicles that all look the same and blow things up . .

That's what arcade racers are for, ppl like you. You probably play GT5 Pro to see how bad a crash you can have and how much mayhem you can cause, rather than trimming tenths of a second off times to become some of the best virtual race drivers online in the world like many gamers do in both Forza and GT.

And sorry, but the team behind Forza are in fact mostly racing drivers, mechanics and race enthusiast. just like those on GT5 . .so please, make sure you have the facts before throwing stuff around, and get your genres right before sticking your oversized foot in your mouth and showing everyone how biased and immature you are.

BLUR . . I nearly chocked on my dinner . . honestly . . you were joking - right???

Here we go again, 'best racing game on the market', really?, Wait till Gran Turismo 5, NFS Shift, Split/Second and BLUR come out before you get too cocky and since when did 400 cars become better than 900 cars and why do people post this nonsense where they compare 'their' game to another game. Anyway FORZA fans are really over hyping this game we know that GT5 has most of the stuff except visual customisation. Plus does FORZA 3 have NASCAR and WRC?, Does Turn 10 have the experience of Polyphony Digital?, And GT5 will have damage so stop getting over confident and let 'your' game and the opposition's game release and then we shall see.

yes true, but I don't know about you, but having spent 500 plus hours in Forza 2, painted a bucket load of cars, raced every track forwards, backwards etc and keep clipping thousandths of a second of times, I still have yet to modify all 350 Forza 2 cars or actually race each one "properly. Not just drive it around the track to get the "All Cars Drive Achievement".

Even withthe game being almost 2 yrs old, there's still lots to play with, now add that, to say 200 other games released in 2 yrs, and would you really have time to plauy properly with all 900 cars in ONE car?? not just plonk your backside in it, go around thetrack and say, Hey, I drove all 900 cars - whoppie-do!

Look at Grid, excellent fun game, limited cars in comparison, but balls-to-the-wall fun and there's always a new way of using a car on a different track combination. Have you (anyone) driven every car in Grid on every track in full races and in the free race mode . . be honest here fellas, have you, 80-90% probably haven't.

In the end it comes down to greed and wanting to have one-up-mans-ship on someone else. Which is fine, but having 400 (plus there WILL be additional DLC - I'm 100% certain of that even after the second disc loaded with different tracks and gear like the video editing program) cars in one game, 100 tracks - man, you'll be doing really well to race half of those on each track variation in 6 months..

Your point about Gran turismo's 900 cars. The thing about them is that for some they have up to 50 different types of cars for the same model, and then they just say they are totally seperate cars. The thing with forza because of its massive customization is that this number could be endless for a particular model. I think in the end I would much prefer 900 cars, no doubt, its just that GT cons you into thinking that there will be 900 different models which isnt really true to a point. Variations of same models shouldnt count.
