This one sort of snuck up on us . . . yet another 360 exclusive out of E3 2009.
Earlier in the year it featured as an ad-placement on the Official Xbox Website and on our 360 Dashboards, then phhoofff!!! . . . gone from sight – and mind by the looks of it.
Then out of left field, Playlogic represented the game at E3 09, all ready for release in the 2nd quarter of 2009. Well that ends mighty soon, – and by all accounts, the game looks damn fine.
Running along the lines of some of the recent supernal 3rd person perspective games, albeit not a sandbox style. Lots of powers of telekinesis, teleportation, damn handy when caught in a corner, and extra super vision to scope out those nasties trying to thwart your endeavours. Not to forget the handy trick of invisibility, which is perfect for those stealthy moments when there are no shadows about to deal with the vilians.
Infernal: Hell’s Vengeance looks at how one Ryan Lennox who has been betrayed, seeks vengeance for his persecution, and uses his skills to that end.

Gameplay as you’ll see in the video seems fluid and dynamic, and the characters also look the part. Some female counterparts in the game (Leather-clad Barbarra to the left & Elena below) add a little more flavour and style, and Ryan has some nasty looking tats that adorn is chiseled torso.
It will be interesting to see what the game plays like when we get playable code to review very shortly, but we wanted to bring you this teaser to whet your appetites now, rather than later.
So do enjoy, and let’s discuss the game here in the comments section . . .
Oh – and please . . . Leave your Fanboy egos at the door, they are not tolerated here at OXCGN. The delete key is all-omnipresent . . . and will strike they down swiftly . . . so you have been warned.
Sensible adult conversation either for or against is ‘always’ welcomed here.

It’s a full Disc Game mate.
I agree with the R18+ – it simply requires education for the general public and for the parents, through schools and general media.
If they were made aware that there WAS a disticnt differece between what THEY think R means _ R=sex) and that it simply means R = Restricted for tose over 18) an dhad a clear sign showing that, which we already do, then more would understand.
It wouldn’t take a huge amount of money compared to a new system, and it would be a positive move, not a negative move for “the children’s protection” groups.
SUre, no matter what Laws are there, many “children” will get hold of whatever they choose to, no matter how much security is in place.
But that doesn’t mean we should have no laws or rules. Society requires them in order to function. Without them, we end up in chaos and there is no system for ppl to follow.
And we’ve seen what happens when that takes place.
We currently have a R18+ rating for movies (which is NOT being used as it should be and in fact being abused here in Australia btw) and we have all the art media done already, the classification exists, and it needs no major alteration whatsoever.
The major hang up is, that the general population equates “R” qith sex, when in fact its the “X” ratuing that the OLFC already has btw, that deal in movies and content sealing in ‘explicit sexual content’. ALl you have to do is go to the OLFC and check their ratings, and there it is.
But how many normal citizens do that – bugger all actually. They WANT the government to tell them what to do, how they shoould do it and hand feed them basically so they have no responsibility, and can then hand over any mistakes to those in power. Sad but true.
Games are no longer the playing field for children or minors alone. They are now aimed at adults, with adult content (read non-sexual content – which is another misconception by the general public) so there NEEDS to be a classification for those games that fall into that area, both here, and overseas. They do overseas, but they do not here.
Look’s average to me. Must be a left over PS2 or XBOX 1 game. 360 has much better exclusives comming next/ this year.
Please visit me at my funny blog:
You guys have no faith. This game looks decent to me a nice RPG. Could be a darker Mass Effect by the looks of it… could be good
Yep, agreed, looks fine, doen’t have to be a AAA title every time, so long as it is FUN . . .that’s the key ingredient in all games.
I had played this on the pc like a year ago i believe, its actually a solid game. Hope it translates well onto the xbox
Seriously….how could you post this screenshot

,along with an upbeat preview of the game, saying it has
“Stunning graphics
• Dust particles, superior textures, realistic lighting and advanced shaders deliver a realistic & contemporary” ??
I’m a 360-only gamer…and I love the exclusives, and normally-superior 3rd-party library….but this game isn’t one to watch. Remember ‘Bullet Witch’ and ‘Vampire Rain’? I sure do…and this game will suffer a similar fate.
So…a 2 y.o. PC title, that was known to be coming to the 360, since it was announced a few years ago, “snuck up” on you? Maybe doing a little more research, upon crawling out from under that rock, could have prevented this embarrassment.
And BTW, no respectable 360 gamer (myself included) has been looking forward to this game. As the PC version’s Wiki shows, this game is destined for mediocrity, and a quick trip to the bargain bin.
