lance henriksen did the voice for shepard and with makeup he culd look like him 2. He played bishop in aliens and played the rich guy in avp

To start, MW is an excellent game.

If a movie is going to be made, then make an excellent movie, don’t make crap, like Far Cry…

If the movie is going to stay bad, don´t do it…

And don’t do all together, I think that it should be made MW 1, with Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare story, then MW 2 with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
I think that Steven Spielberg, Michael Bay, Ridley Scott, maybe a few more, could be the directors, maybe just one of them, maybe all together! (Like Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks in Brothers in Arms and The Pacific, together, they made a great work!)

I think Russel Crowe looks like Soap, if he had some arranjes, and he could “train” the scottish accent… And he has so many experience in action movies! So, I think that would be a good choice…

For Price, I’m not seeing anyone that is similar to him… But I’m sure that the producers will find someone… Roach could be anyone, I think Leonardo DiCaprio would be fine. Gaz and Ghost should be the same person, because they have the same voice, and Ghost is masked, so his face doesn’t need to be revealed. I’m not seeing anyone for Shepherd and Nikolai right now, but I’m sure the producers will find someone. I really want this movie to happen, but I want it good, remember this.

So, please Ridley Scott (or the other two that I mentioned, but Ridley especially, because he has many experience in war movies) start doing this movie now! I promise you that if you make an excellent movie, you will be awarded, if not awarded by the Oscars, will be by fans Goodbye, and for GOD sake, please, do this movie! (Sorry for my bad english, I’m portuguese.)

Two directors they really need to consider, buy not limited to: Michael Bay (with no love story). Martin Cambpell (two of the James Bond films “Goldeneye”, “Casino Royale”)

i think the best way to make a movie based on CoD:MW is taking the same style that Black Hawk Down have, also taking the observation that every level of the game is a small story of a big conflict, every story could be on charge of different directors i recomend jerry bruckheimer, michael mann, karyn bigalow among others… every story should have a small debrief before (just like in the game) because to be honest nobody care in seeing stressed people runing around from each direction in an office with all the paperwork that is behind, that will just slow the movie, i recomend a fast forward movie with intense scenes.

only then this movie will feel like the game… at least a little

i guess that Michael Bay WON’T do it… kopfeully, because TF2 was jsut a big dissapointment to me, so i really hope that some really good (and maybe newer) director, like JJ ABRAMS or NEIL BLOMKAMP could direct it.

ABRAMS surprised the hell outta me with his STAR TREK movie, but BLOOMKAP`MP did a fantastic job in DISTRICT 9, too…
but my secret favorite is CHRISTOPHER NOLAN!!!

The script really should include some backstories of the soldiers (i haven’t played CoD: Modern Warfare 1 so far, but MW 2 is just awesome, especially the cool Soundtrack by Hans Zimmer!) and some other cool trivieas about the locations and so on…

So, i hope MW1 will be scripted very well (maybe by Orci&Kurtzman or David S. Goyer) and the companies are picking the righ director for it… but i’m afraid there won’t be any CoD-movie before 2014…
