And I'm surprised the game has not been recalled by the OLFC here in Australiua, as it was never presented (that section) to the OLFC in the first place. Basically just like the Hot Coffee situation with Rockstar.

And the other games that have been "banned" here pale in comparison with regards to that level .. . and we wonder why ppl do not have any faith in the censorship laws in Australia - they are a joke. Especially when you know that your 15 yr old can get this game off the shelf without any worry whatsoever.

And there's nothing any well-meaning shop staff can do about it.

In my opinion making the "No Russian" level interactive, allowing gamers to participate in a horrifically realistic massacre of innocent civilians in the context of today's world was either a tasteless miscalculation or just trying to be controversial for attention.

I have no issues with it being like the 'execution scene' of MW1 where you are 1st person observer, but there will be plenty of gamers that will go on a killing spree just because they can when the level should make most normal people uncomfortable (and does a good job of it).
