It’s all around us.
The PS4 has been unveiled, and the internet is on fire with new information on all of the fantastic new things Sony is doing.
You may be wondering: with such a punch, what does Microsoft think about the PS4 in relation to the next Xbox?
Major comments
The following comes from the twitter of Larry Hyrb, known as Major Nelson, who is a major player at Xbox and an obvious big proponent of the brand.
Next generation of madness!
Obviously, Major wasn’t very entertained with how Sony went about their presentation.
What do you think?
Did you enjoy Sony’s event?
Or did you feel it to be underwhelming?

Microsoft’s just scared right now…they know their next console won’t be as powerful and Sony beat them to the punch. I think this was brilliant on Sony’s part…create some hype early on BEFORE microsoft shows their next console…wait for microsoft to reveal their next console and then Sony shows theirs in order to pull some hype from microsoft.
Major Nelson took the words out of my mouth. I’m reminded of Ian Malcolm’s words from the first Jurassic Park movie “You are going to have Dinosaurs on your Dinosaur tour right?”. I was asking that of Sony, I mean why announce a console and not show it off?
Totally agree Sony always a follower and never first to show off ,they wait n see what everyone else is showing. Like we all didn’t expect a new console was coming this holiday so why not show it off
What wasn’t shown off? A crappy prototype box to ogle? I’d rather know what’s inside the box and what it’s capable of.
The console wasn’t shown off, I mean it is coming out this year, it was a console reveal without an actual console. They showed tech demo’s that we’ve already seen. They showed a video game trailer that we already saw, they played Watch Dogs on a PC with supposed PS4 specs, but not actually on the PS4.
We some some CGI trailers and the only thing real that we saw was Killzone, which was obviously at one point a PS3 title, it didn’t look anywhere near the graphics Sony was claiming. We got no price, no look at the console, no release date. We saw a controller, sensor bar, heard some specs and basically wasted 2 hours.
