Final Fantasy XIII Limited Collector’s Edition Revealed – 360/PS3

Finally some ‘classic’ box-art for PAL regions

Unbeknownst to Square-Enix, who probably had big plans for the reveal of the coveted Final Fantasy XIII Collector’s edition, major online UK retailer PLAY.com has let slip the contents of the much anticipated JRPG. Set for release on the 9th March 2009, it is the first time that PAL territories will receive a numbered Final Fantasy at the same time as gamers in North America.

The contents are identical for both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 platforms. Of special note for EU/AU gamers is the Collector’s Edition contains a ‘special fliptop’ package, embossed only with the title’s emblem on a white background *cue victory fanfair*. It should be noted that this might vary from the North America collector’s edition, though given they are launching day and date across various territories, they could end up being identical.

Without further ado, OXCGN presents the 3 best features of each console.
