Editor: As Just Dance games are best enjoyed in a group setting we grabbed 3 Just Dance fans from different age groups and both sexes and threw them together.

Then we separated them and told them to decide if the new version is a step up or falls flat on its face.

Here’s what they said:

Everybody dance now, here

A Delightfully Different Outing

It’s safe to say that Dishonored is one of the most unique titles releasing in 2012.

The best way of describing it would be the atmosphere, mood and tone of Thief, combined with everything that made the Deus Ex franchise great: a plethora of gameplay styles, and multiple approaches to every situation.

After unfortunately not having time to play it at E3, I had an opportunity to sit down with the PC version of the game for an entire hour at QuakeCon 2012, with the exceptional opportunity to interview Harvey Smith, co-creative director on the title, immediately after.

For now, we’ll focus on what I saw in my demo.

Rarely do you find a franchise more influential than Doom.

The king of video game violence controversy and one of the first modern first person shooters, Doom blew the doors off of what we thought was possible in a video game.

Nearly a decade later, Doom is back in the ultimate package: Doom 3: BFG Edition.

Featuring Doom, Doom 2, Doom 3, and Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil, BFG looks to be the ultimate Doom experience.

More Doom and gloom here

Nick Sits Down With Harvey Smith

QuakeCon 2012 has been one of the biggest – and most interesting – years of the show to date.

During the event, Harvey Smith (co-creative director at Arkane Studios) and I sat down and had a lengthy discussion on Dishonored‘s design, development process and even all the way back to his early days working on Deus Ex.

I’m proud to say that I managed to somewhat stump him.

Harvey goes on to say that Dishonored breaks many – if not all – of the patterns you know in gaming.

Dig into Dishonored!
