From the Wii U’s launch to the PS4 reveal in February, the industry has been going bonkers for any information regarding the new consoles.

Today, Microsoft announced the details – for when they would announce the details – in regards to the next Xbox.

They had an interesting choice of words.

When Halo 4‘s embargo lifted, reviews from sites such as IGN, Stevivor and Destructoid flooded the internet with praise and it seemed that 343 Industries’ entry into the Halo franchise, and the first of the new Reclaimer trilogy, was on the right track to be one of the best console exclusive games.

A triumphant return for the Master Chief and Cortana who have been out of commission since 2007.

That was until other journalists coming in after the flurry of early reviews posted theirs.

Some of them weren’t nearly as approving as the those that came before it.

Worse still, other sites were quick to jump to criticise Halo 4 for the silliest of reasons.

Origin of Pain adds more content to everyone’s real favourite Xbox exclusive with 36 new tracks (both regular and Supercross), brand new costumes for your biker, new skill games, a new vehicle and extra track creator objects in the triple figures.

With all that value, you’d expect this hefty chunk of DLC to cost you an equally hefty figure.

Save that loans website for later; Origin of Pain will only set you back an unbelievably reasonable 400 MSP.
