E3 2011

The Electronic Entertainment Expo is perhaps one of THE gaming events of the gaming calendar every year, even outstripping the Tokyo Game Show, or the Game Developers Conference.

There were a few years where it was a bit iffy, and they decided to cut back, reduce its size and even change its venue.

But these ‘trials’ just didn’t work well for the overall life of the Expo, and a return to its former style and manner has brought more attention to gaming now than it has done in the last several years.

OXCGN was able to attend the 2009 and 2010 E3 events, and it was a great experience. But we learnt some major lessons by attending, and trying to run the site from there, as well as using the team back home.

We realised we needed a team of at least 5 people at the Expo to do the job properly. This year, with a smaller team, we have been able to get more news out for you the readers, than we have done in the two previous years when attending.

So please, check out all the news listed below, each item will take you to the whole article elsewhere on the site, comment, share the videos, images and articles with your friend via the social media buttons we have on each post.

But most of all, just enjoy the experience, and we’ll keep the news, as well as our features on events, as well as our world renowned ‘OXCGN Opinion Pieces’ which have garnered a great deal of support from all platform gamers.

Enjoy E3 2011, we are, and if you spot a new-worthy story, email us asap, we’ll credit you with the find naturally. After all, this is ideally a community based site.
