Did Asura’s Wrath Create a New Game Genre by Accident?

Ever since Asura’s Wrath had been announced, I had kept an eye on the game’s progress.

Being a fan of Japanese Anime, such as Dragonball Z and the like, the game looked to take various cues and themes from Anime Pop Culture.

The art style looked to be a nice balance of hand-drawn and computer generated images. Battles take place on such an immense and global scale.

Asura’s Wrath promised an engaging story; I couldn’t wait to get stuck into it.

The year has gotten off to a massive start with Insertcoins, and it’s only getting bigger with each publisher showcasing their 2012 line up.

Capcom have once again raided the Oxford Arts Factory, decking it out for their showcase of upcoming titles.

From Asura’s Wrath all the way to Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 on the PlayStation Vita, there were enough games to tickle everyone’s fancy and I was lucky enough to check these games out and report back to you with my thoughts on most of the titles. (more…)

Capcom Unveils Three New Blockbuster Titles.

Devil May Cry – Asura’s Wrath – Dead Risings 2: Case West

Never one to wait behind others, Capcom have announced at a pre-Tokyo Game Show showcase earlier this evening in Tokyo that they will be releasing 3 new titles.

Naturally we’ll be seeing major publishers such as the likes of THQ helping distribute and promote Capcom’s titles especially here in Australia. We’ll be certain to be filling you in with any and all info as we receive it.

The news straight from Capcom EU sees much-loved heroes return and a new IP announced.
