Get your nowThis listing is compiled for those of us who reside in the Australia New Zealand region. So please take note that some games may well have been released in other regions such as Nth America, United Kingdom, and parts of Europe, but have yet to be released here in Australia, New Zealand and some parts of the Asian-pacific region.

Xbox 360 game RELEASE schedules are updated weekly from either VURP or Palgn. To get an accurate release schedule, please check their sites regularly to keep in touch with when 360 games are being released here In Australia, both sites are Australian based, so do check regularly, as dates can change without notice.

Prior to reading the New OXCGN Xbox 360 Games Listing below, please take a few moments to read this preamble before proceeding to the list. NEW information has been included, and it could answer any questions you may have, and it will give you an idea of how to navigate and use the New Xbox 360 Games Listing. Plus we will make regular updates on some games in this area – thank you.

• Preamble:

What follows is a listing of all ’355 known’ (this number will vary weekly as games are removed and added) games that have either been “Confirmed“, “Announced“, “Mentioned” or “Rumoured” to be coming to the Xbox360 platform over the following 12 – 18 months. You will notice some with different Symbols which indicate if they are New IP’s, Sequels or Exclusives.

Now that the Backward Compatibility Program has finished at MS Xbox-Div, it has been replaced with the new Xbox Originals Program, you will need to check this Backward Compatibility List from Xbox.com to see what 1st-Gen games will play on your Xbox 360.

Check the Xbox Original List for games that are now readily available for download via Xbox Live Arcade for around 1200 MSP (Aus). These games have a “come as-is” stipulation attached, so if there were bugs in the original games, they will still be there, unfortunately.

Please Note:

We have but ONE simple request, and that is, that you PLEASE SEARCH the entire list before making a comment about any games that you believe might be missing from the listing, or that you believe should or should not be on the listing whichever the case may be. It is most likely that a game could be already be listed, but under a different name, or spelt differently to how you might know it as, or still have a different working title, or in some cases, had its name changed completely by the developer/publisher.

The point is, PLEASE READ the posting before passing comment.

1: Game Categories:

You will find 2 icons accompanying the games, they will either denote the game as an Exclusive (EXCL), a New Intellectual Property (NIP) or running as a Sequel (SEQ), so that you can see at a glance what are New games to the platform, what are Exclusive, and which are games continuing a Current Franchise. However, some will be a NEW IP, even though they have a similar name. As they have been re written, re-designed and while sharing the original name, they may well bear no resemblance to the earlier game.

2: Link-Help throughout the listing:

You will find various Hyperlinks in each game to either Further Information, the games Official Website or even More News to help you obtain more information on any game as we find it. There will be links for various Media (video and or screens) for you to check out which will either be held on-site, or off.

So please use the links as directed, they are there for your use and information. You can also search for more information on any game by simply typing the following into a Google search field … – xbox 360 game title’s name – .. Nothing more, or less. No caps, or joining of the words xbox 360 (ie: xbox360). This will ‘usually’ give you much more information than this listing can deliver for you here.

3: Xbox Live Arcade:

For all you information on XBLA, please check the guys over at XBLA-Addict out, as they keep a solid listing of all Arcade games coming to the Xbox360. I simply didn’t want to list them all here, and mainly wanted to focus only on “Disc-only” games . . .

4: Please Note:

Many of these titles listed here have now been either Confirmed, and/or Announced by the developers, while others still only have (Working Titles – Project Names) or, are listed as To Be Confirmed (TBC). Release dates are ALWAYS subject to change in every territory and region, so do not hold us bound by any date mentioned in the listing, they are there for guides only. Many will be marked To Be Announced (TBA) if there is the slightest doubt on a release.

While every effort was made to ensure release dates are accurate, many do fluctuate, so dates are always subject to change from the Publishers . . . . You should therefore check with either VURP, Palgn or Australia MS Xbox-Div’s Release Schedules for accurate dates.

5: Help us with the listing:

All these titles have been rigorously followed up through various press and media outlets. However, you can contribute to this listing if you know of any game not listed, or that has recently been announced. Simply email us straight away and we can list it and credit you for the information. Remember that this is a Xbox Community Network Service, so feel fee to contribute any information you may come across. But do supply at least two valid URL’s to support your findings, and any media or interview URL’s mentioning any new titles you may wish to submit. You may well nab yourself a nice XBLA game in the process, so start digging up those hard to find games.

6: Developer Projects:

Some developers do not name their titles at all until they secure a publisher, or decide to unleash the news to the general gaming public, so as to keep the information as quit as possible during early development, just in case the project ‘goes-south’. To check out what games some developers are working on, check out the “Games under P” section and scroll down to Projects, there you will find an plethora of games under development from some of the biggest gaming developers out, as well as some of the new start-ups.

Such as those by Spiellberg, Silicon nights new game for 2010 (not too human related), NeoWizz, Digital Extremes new thriller, and many others.

  1. There is quite a great deal of racers coming out for the Xbox 360 in 2009. They might not all be exclusives, but should be enjoyable and excellent games. I thought that Q4 of 2008 was intense …

  2. @ labwarrior

Thanks for that – fixed – don’t forget to let me know which forum or site that you put the listing up on please, so we can keep a track of any incoming data.

  3. I have noticed that you have forgotten the “exclusive”
for Cry On and Star Ocean 4

If you want, fix that too :)

  4. Of course, i intent to just link to the page actually, not even copy stuff at all :)

    Nice job

BTW more proof of KUF2: Dominion for 360, for anyone interested

Kingdom under Fire 2 exclusive to the 360 (and PC)

  5. @ Labwarrior

So long as you only use a segment of the Main Games Listing Page and the link you provide leads back to that Main Games List Page, as that allows everyone to access all other pages. Simply guide others to it, and by all means let them know you contributed – naturally.

Always credit your sources mate, that’s the big thing to remember.

  6. Amazing job, thanks

Only on game missing, so i can now use the list everywhere :)

  7. Very soon mate, just had a hectic weekend and will get it done over next day or two, a notice wil go up when there has been a change, it will be in the Aust forums when it does.

  8. When will the list be updated with the missing games ?

I want to use it in forums, but i am waiting until it is updated with the missing titles

  9. Here are the missing links, i have covered Two Worlds, Age of Dreams and KUF2 above

    Ninja Blade

    http://screenshots.teamxbox.com/gallery/2121/Ninja-Blade/p1/

  10. I will add some links for each one later

I love the list, saw some games i never new they existed

  11. Thanks Mate, you’re definitely on the way to earning yourself some XboxLIVE Gold code . . . . .

This list has been On-going since I first started it in 2005 when it was first posted on N4G all that time ago. There have been several versions of it over the years, with this being the latest complete re-make from top to bottom..

It is now designed to be semi-wiki based through contributions, as no one person can keep track of the games coming to ANY platform these days. We naturally can not allow anyone to just add or edit out site, so the best way we can do this is via contributing such as you’re currently doing.

SO to any read (operative word btw) checking out the site and the list, do read up on how you can help in the How Can You Help section within the main game list index page. and possibly earn yourself some XboxLIVE gold code while helping the community at large.

I will follow up on those items you have mentioned and credit will be give to those who submit listing for your efforts as well. Just remember to subit at least TWO links that lead to each game that show recent news, pics or interviews related to the game being submitted.

Cheers and thanks . . This IS what THIS site is about, not fanboism.

  12. Let me sum up the missing ones for convenience

    360 only
    Ninja Blade Added 29/9/08
Magic The Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers (Xbox Live Arcade) (we don’t incl XBLA unfortunately)

Kingdom Under Fire 2: Dominion Added 29/9/08

And i have a shooter to check out

    Darkest of Days

  14. Your list is trully amazing, keep it up

At first though was just a post and then neglected, but since it is on going i simply love it :)

And yes, some people should read first, including me :)

  15. Also add

    Age of Dreams

    on the “A” list

    http://xbox360.ign.com/objects/142/14274123.html

  16. It’s not a problem mate, if more ppl read the main page and checked things out first, they’d find more stuff and know what and why things are in the listing.

The old adage ‘You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink’ comes to mind a lot these days when it comes t getting ppl to read.

I’ll most certainly check out the vids, and the game will appear in the listing, that’s a given.

  17. Well, sorry about “the list fails” comment :) :)

TW Temptation is my most wanted game next year, see the xbox 360 video and you will know why

  18. Thanks mate, yes, I do remeber that game, and if you’ll notice, R S and T have yet to be completed 1005, so I’ll most certainly add that game to the listing, and add your name to the possibles for some XBL Gold Code for the month . . Thanks heaps, most appreciated.

This is what we mean by “Community Website.

You help us, we help you.

  19. TWO WORDLS TEMPTATION !!!!

    is missing

    Here

    http://www.2-worlds.com/

The Temptation coming to XBOX 360® and Windows PC
+++ Sequel to ‘ Role-Playing Hit “Two Worlds” Arrives In Stores This Fall +++

    Karlsruhe, 20. March 2008

SouthPeak Games and ZUXXEZ Entertainment today announced that it will be releasing a sequel to its popular open world role-playing game, Two Worlds. Entitled “Two Worlds: The Temptation”, the game is slated to be available

on Xbox 360® and Windows PC this fall.

Taking place shortly after the events portrayed in the first Two Worlds, The Temptation takes place in Eastern Antaloor, in the regions surrounding Oswaroh and the Drak’ar Desert. Featuring as much content as the original, Two Worlds: The Temptation will feature more intricate missions, improved voice-overs and animations, retooled horseback riding, completely revamped combat, and a new game engine that delivers visuals that have to be seen to be believed.
“Our entire development team is now putting their all into making Two Worlds: The Temptation a game that is far and away better than the original,” said Miroslaw Dymek, Chief Developer with Reality Pump explained. “We’ve taken to heart all the comments made by gamers about Two Worlds and we’re going to give them what they want with the sequel.”
    New screens are shown here

  20. Well the list failed !!!!

Two Worlds Temptation (PC/360) is missing !!!!!!!

And is the most huge WRPG coming to 360 next year

  21. That’s one hell of a list, must’ve taken you guys ages to first set up!! Nice work and a great idea – two thumbs up.

  22. did you read further down the page or even the entire page . . . it explains that the listing is subject to change, that it is made up of upcoming games that have been both announced, officially announced, in development, under consideration, looking for publishers etc, and is NOT aimed at being the definative listing for all 360 games.

Not having a go at you directly mate, just asking you to read the entire thing before passing comment, which is also mentioned in that main section, asking people to read the main page and also check out the links and how to go about that.

  23. @xboxorz360

the “BIG” RED TEXT only explains about copyrights and copy paste rights and how many hours in copy paste took to the author, so…. I guess it’s better for you to read it.

  24. @ Power of Flop That’s is why we have in BIG red text a section explaining how the list is compiled and what it consists of and that we ASKED people to READ the preamble first so that they know what it is all about.

But many simply ignor any reading, go straight to something, see a name and then assume it is bogus without even checking anything out. Such as 50 Cent: Blood In The Sand.

The Publishers are the ones having issues, not the developer. Just like Wet, and Brutal Legend etc. They are not canceled, but simply needing new publishers due to Vivendi Seira dropping them, which does not constitute them being canceled, simply looking for a new publisher. So David Jay if you don’t read the rest of the listing based on just that, they you’re doing yourself out of finding out about more games that could well come to the 360.

Do try reading the preamble or the main page with the index on it, it’s basically explains everything right there. But you will have to read it. (jk btw)

  25. http://www.gameguru.in/action/2008/22/50-cent-blood-on-the-sand-not-cancelled-swordfish-studios/

Not officially as yet – there’s still some doubt as to whether it will be released, but it hasn’t been “cancelled” as yet…

  26. Now, I just started reading, and see that you’ve listed “50 cent: Blood on the Sand”. This game has been cancelled. I’m officially done reading this article.

  27. “New & Upcoming” – pretty self explanatory? :)

  28. I thought it was a release list, not a new gaming list sorting…..
