F1: (Racing Sim) – by Codemasters / Codemasters – Release date 2009 TBA. Codemasters grabbed the (F1 licence) from Sony and game (information). “Formula 1 is ambitious in expanding its reach with more circuits planned beyond recent additions in the Middle East and China. It is also ambitious in expanding its reach via technology. The digital communities that computer and video gaming creates will play a key role in further growing the Formula 1 audience and connecting them globally”, said Rod Cousens of the deal. Cousens went on to be anything but modest about the deal. “As a world-leading creator of driving games, this alliance with Formula 1 is the jewel in Codemasters’ racing crown and creates an undisputed segment champion. Formula 1 has gone with the best, the segment leader. It has gone to the home of the EGO Engine for quality; it has gone to the company that can host FORMULA 1 Online, to the company that is streaking away from the pack.”

Faith & a .45: (TPS) – by / Deadline Games – (Currently on hold looking for new publisher) Release date 15th Nov 2009 TBA. Game (details) plus (screens) and a (teaser trailer). Excellent looking game and interesting gameplay should make this a stand-out title. The game’s most distinctive feature looks to be the relationship between hero Luke and sidekick/love interest Ruby. In single-player, you take control of Luke with Ruby as the second member of your squad, while in co-op (online or off — jump in/out at any time) the second player controls Ruby directly. You have light squad control features in the single-player mode along the lines of a Gears of War, but the game does a few things you might not expect if you think of it as a “squad” game.

Far Cry 3: Africa (FPS) – Ubisoft / Ubisoft – Release date 2009/10 TBA. The third in the series returns to Africa, anbd no doubt with even more advanced technology. “For us, Africa still has a huge amount of promise,” Redding told videogaming24/7. “There are still things we want to do with the African setting, and I think it’s safe to say we’ll continue to explore it.” A return to Africa isn’t a lock however, as Redding also noted that “we might find something new and compelling about the Antarctic setting that wants us to make the next game there.”

Fairy Tales: Three Heros (Fighting Adventure) – by – Cats Who Play – Release date 2009 TBA (Official Announcement) and (Media – Screens).
