Incarnate: (Action/Adventure) – by Pub TBC / Radar Group- Release date 2010/11 TBA. Read the (interview) with Scott Miller and public (announcement). This project demonstrates exactly why Radar is unique. We have teamed up with Frank Hannah, who wrote the movie, The Cooler. So, the concept came from Hollywood, so to speak, through Depth Entertainment. This is one of the ultra-rare linear concepts that had strong potential also as a game property, so that’s where Radar is taking it, while Depth is working a film deal for the property. It’s important to note that we do not care about simultaneous film and game releases. That just leads to disaster, as one must be compromised to make the date of the other. Not only must each release stand on its own, but each much not cover the same territory as the other. Our goal is that the film and a game taken from the same storyverse tell a different slice of story, and compliment each other, rather than repeat each other. I think the most successful Star Wars games, for example, tell entirely unique stories versus the film stories.

Indianapolis 500 Evolution: (Gacing Sim) – by Destineer / Brain In a Jar – Release date TBA. Game (Facts Sheet) and. Rewrite history by crafting the decisive 1960’s open-wheel Indy racer and defeating legendary drivers as part of the “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.” Hand-tweak your Indy speed rocket by carefully balancing engines, suspensions, and chassis. Reign supreme by pushing the boundaries of safety, reflexes and strategy in your experimental vehicle as you race against the full field of biggest names in racing and up to 7 of your friends at the Indianapolis 500, Milwaukee Mile, Trenton, Riverside, Hanford and Langhorne Speedway. Drive in over 100 authentically created cars from the 60’s and early 70’s.

Interstellar Marines #1: (aka Project IM) (Shooter) – by Zero Point Software – Release date TBA. Game (Information) and (more news) plus (video). It’s a bit Sci-Fi, a lot action, and a bit adventure with an original, unpredictable story line that offers multi as well as single player modes. Interstellar Marines is the first of a trilogy; an ambitious proclamation to make this early in the game’s development and pre-release stages for a company that has little experience with first person shooters. Zero Point Software was founded in 2004 and is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark. While the small company is new to the scene, their employees aren’t, and with their maiden game, Interstellar Marines, they are off to a fantastic start. With a heavy, and refreshing, focus on realism, Zero Point’s flagship FPS will be aimed at the mature (17 years old and up) gaming demographic. Now, when I say ‘realism,’ I don’t just mean that your character will die from taking a realistically small amount of damage or be unable to jump fifty feet into the air. I mean everything about this game is realistic.

Interstellar Marines #2: (aka Project IM) (Shooter) – by Zero Point Software – Release date TBA. Game (Information) and (detailed Information) plus (video). Again, think realism: the Interstellar Marines won’t carry hundreds and hundreds of rounds of ammunition and be indestructible, for such is the stuff of make-believe. Instead, they’ll have to bank their survival on marksmanship, smart thinking, and nimble maneuvering. Engaging a large group of smart A.I. will most likely, as in reality, get oneself killed. As an Interstellar Marine, you’ll more likely turn into a sagacious warrior than a bullet-spewing death machine. Combat may also demand reliance on one’s squad mates.

Interstellar Marines #3: (aka Project IM) (Shooter) – by Zero Point Software – Release date TBA (Further Information) and (Further Information) plus (video). Engaging a large group of smart A.I. will most likely, as in reality, get oneself killed. As an Interstellar Marine, you’ll more likely turn into a sagacious warrior than a bullet-spewing death machine. Combat may also demand reliance on one’s squad mates. I don’t know yet, as the information has not been released, whether players will enjoy a high level of independence or fight in a group-based environment such as that of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfigher games. I do know that a squad will exist because they are sure as heck in the game’s trailer, but their effect on gameplay is still anyone’s guess.
