According to a fan who visited Valve‘s offices, the next Team Fortress 2 Meet The Team video will star the Medic, and it’s coming sooner rather than later.

While at the Valve headquarters, the extremely lucky fan got to see an unfinished version of the Meet The Medic video, along with some DOTA 2.

The breakdown of the fan’s once-in-a-lifetime experience can be found here, where he eagerly recapped the events of that day on the Steam forums.

His words exactly regarding the “Meet The Medic” video:

“I’ve seen it and it’s 100% real. It’s about 80-90% done, and will be released ‘soon’.”

The member also noted that it was quite possibly one of the best videos for the title yet.

Holy Smokes, Batman!

Well, it’s only been three and a half years since the release of Team Fortress 2.

I still play it daily and wonder how Valve managed to create such an addicting title.

Although Valve aren’t the most timely of developers, when they release, they always deliver.

What do you think is in play for the Meet The Medic video?

Will we finally find out if he’s related to some mad experiment?

Will there be some Mann Co.-esque Nazi involvement?

What do you think?

I'm an American from steamy Louisiana, one of the most electronically deprived areas of the United States. I've gamed since I was four years old as a result, and plan to do it onto my deathbed. I discovered I could write in June of 2010 when I started a little site called Fans of The Genre with a few friends, and that eventually collapsed three months after due to social lives kicking in. No less than two weeks after that I discovered OXCGN via the community gamer gab competition, and become a staff member shortly after. In February of 2011 I was welcomed to the Editorial staff, then in March of 2012 I was promoted to co-owner... and here I am!
